I believe that this was the most impactful event of the 15th century because it gave way to a new level of wealth in europe. It also introduce new crops such as the potato, allowing european peasants to remain nourished through hard times increasing population. Lastly
this voyage gave way to the colonization of north america greatly changing the orientation of the world.
