Sahih Muslim (Arabic: صحيح مسلم‎ , Ṣaḥīḥ may be translated as "authentic" or "sound.") is one of the six major hadith collections (kutub al-sittah) in Sunni Islam. It is highly acclaimed by Sunni Muslims and is considered the second most authentic hadith collection after Sahih al-Bukhari.
Out of 300,000 hadith which he evaluated, approximately 12,000.
