This moment marks the beginning of Zack's Tregaronian occupation. While walking on the outskirts of Nishka, the two of them are ambushed by Tregaronian warriors. Lillie is knocked out almost immediately. In a last ditch effort, Zack leaves her unconscious in a wagon headed for Nishka, leaving his sword with her. Then, he diverts the warriors by running farther out into the desert, and he is eventually caught.
