Poll of Them Outside Great Financial Centres Shows Few Favoring It. AGAINST RESERVE SECTION Western Representatives Plan to Provide for Asset Currency in the Measure by an Amendment.

CHICAGO, April 12. — That the bankers of the chief cities of the country outside the great financial centres are opposed to the Aldrich Currency bill now pending in Congress is shown by a poll which will be printed in The Tribune to-morrow. A canvass of the National banks in business centres shows few favorable to the measure in its present form.
