Attempting to get rid of the American troops that were spilling into France, German launches a powerful counter-offensive that would tear through Allied lines. However, the attack was stopped short, but not without extremely heavy losses on both sides.

Although with the cost of 80,000 lives, Allied defenses were tested and pushed on, unbroken by Germany’s desperate attempt to stop them.
