'The Golem' was released, being the first movie to be released, with mise-en-scene and camera, impacting the genre of horror greatly as this production was revolutionary, influencing many films released in later days. 'Cabinet of Dr Calligar' had been released, moving the audience due to the use of non-diagetic sound, unlike any other movie in the market at the time. Sounds were used in order to create dramatic, eerie scenes containing killings.
