Minos becomes enraged that Talos, the protector of Crete, has been destroyed by pirates. He orders Daedalus to repair the bronze giant. Daedalus examines the ruins of the giant in meticulous detail, but is unable to repair the damage. Mechanically there is nothing wrong, but it seems like the mind of the giant has been lost.
