The manhattan project was an American program to research and develop the first atomic bomb. Countries that were involved and led the event were the United States, United Kingdom and Canada. Canada in fact played an important role in the Project. Canada made three contributions to the project. First, Canada supplied uranium. Second Canada did great research into the extraction and production of plutonium. Third Canada provided researchers and scientists with wealth facilities for the research reduction and production
