Imperial Conferences were meetings which brought together British and its dominions. Canada especially insisted on getting independence from England. In one of the meetings in 1926 the Prime Minister endorsed independence by signing a Treaty without Britain. This treaty wasa fishing agreement among Canada and the United States. It was also the first time Canada signed a treaty without England.
