Descrizione:
UTF-8 is a variable-width character encoding used for electronic communication. Defined by the Unicode Standard, the name is derived from Unicode (or Universal Coded Character Set) Transformation Format – 8-bit.
In 1992, Ken Thompson developed the UTF-8 encoding scheme together with Rob Pike.[19] UTF-8 encoding has since become the dominant character encoding for the World Wide Web, accounting for 97% of all web pages, and up to 100% for some languages, as of 2021.
