This was done in an attempt to de-alienate the people of the Concordance of Rebirth from the surrounding Dominions, all of which spoke primarily the tongue of the Vourenkinn. As most inhabitants of the kingdom already spoke or understood the language (For although the language of the Nándévva is unique, it shares many aspects with the Valen Keva, as such is its root, and also Stonehome was settled both by men of the forests and the mountains that joined in the March, the latter of whom already spoke Valen Keva as well as the language of the Easterncome), it did not take much time for a portion of them to embrace the language as their main tongue.
Not all of them did, however. Most of the communities settled amid the First Valleys embraced Valen Keva in less than fifty cycles (Renaming most of their cities by way of speaking their names in the Valen Keva), but the people of the Lowlands (Lágáluvur) fervently opposed the motion, going so far as to rise up in arms to distance themselves from the Valen Keva-speaking populace of the kingdom (As is the case of the Kinirvánduvur's - The Isle of the Heiress - insurgency).
