On central day (Dec 9, 1917) of British battle with Ottomans for Jerusalem, prophecy of Isaiah 31:5 (KJV) is realized. After ~2000 years of several nations controlling the land via ground attacks, Britain is the first country to use airplanes in a war to gain control of Jerusalem. Further, their planes preserved the city by defeating Ottomon & German forces leading up to that day.

On Dec 8th 1917 (last full day of battle), the scripture* read from the Book of Common Prayer was:
Isaiah 31:5 (KJV):
"As birds flying,, so will the Lord of hosts DEFEND Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it"
and coincidentally... The British squadron #14 squadron flying over the holy land on this day had a motto: "I spread my wings and keep my promise"
