The Maoria Union of Islands or the MUI was formed out of the island of Maoria. When King Nakamoura offered the leaders of Maoria if they would like to join his growing island kingdom, they declined. They decided to create a rival island kingdom. So they sent offers to the islands closest to Maoria. Every island that received an offer accepted it. The leaders continued to send offers to the islands closest to their kingdom as the border continued to expand. When the Union was officially founded it had a total of 42 islands, isles, islets, atolls, and seamounts.
