Tiananmen Square Massacre was when a bunch of Chinese students got together to protest about greater democracy. When the Chinese government realized that they weren't gong to stop protesting then they decided to stop them with unnecessary force. This resulted in thousands killed and now it is illegal to talk about it in china.
