This is best viewed on a computer. I recommend making the chart full screen, using the four-corners icon on the side of the window. Once it is full screen, you can minimize or maximize particular categories by hovering over them with your mouse and clicking on the four-corners icon that appears. I recommend minimizing all the categories except the ones you are most interested in, and comparing those.

You can also use the sliding bar on the side to zoom out and view the entire chart at once.

A fun thing to do with this chart is to notice the relationships between different elements of Jewish experience.

Below the line shows literary, legal, and intellectual history.

Above the line shows material and political history.
