As an appeal to the frontiersmen attempting to move west, Jackson enacts the Indian Removal Act to move the natives out of their lands and give the land to the frontiersmen to settle.
Importance—This showed the lack of care for the natives and the importance Jackson saw to please the people wanting to move westward.
Connection—Jackson is revered as part of the common man and to maintain this view, he takes steps that would benefit those that also view themselves as the common man.
