Before this attack has occured on Pearl Harbour there was talk of the Americans Joining WW2. So Japan Decided to bomb the American Naval base Pearl Harbour, as a preemptive strike. This was a bad decision on the Japanese part, because "the ONly thing more dangerous than Ebola is a pissed off American"(Ethan Stewart 2017). All this attack did was make the Americans more mad with the Japanese. They poked the tiger through the cage, and the tiger broke out.
