Although little is known about this time, an ancient historian by the name of Pyromaniac says about one and one month after the first settlers arrived they were destructive and destroyed the opening to 2b2t which was to be known by its inhabitants as "Spawn". His account says it was done by creeper explosions and Lava casts which will be well known to spawn in the coming years. Griefers were the ones who probably destroyed spawn in the earlier days. "Griefer" is a general term to describe those who destroy for the sake of causing anguish or grief to others. 2b2t is well known for its high amount of griefers so much that it is engrained in 2b2t culture and isn't as frowned upon as it is in other lands.
