Black Ops 3 added new items into their supply drops that were exclusive to them, meaning the only way to unlock them is to get lucky. They later added Cod Points, a form of currency that can be purchased with real money and is able to purchase supply drops, causing controversies regarding whether or not they were "pay-to-win".
