In this excerpt from McIlvane, he decries that Alcoholism causes nothing but trouble. He said that Alcoholism is a defining trait of poverty and domestic abuse. He says thousands die from Alcoholism. And he says that Alcoholism is slavery to the brew. His words will eventually lead to the 18th amendment which banned Alcohol.
