Descrizione:
The Federalists were a group that supported a strong central government, advocated the ratification of the new Constitution, and was supported by Alexander Hamilton. The Federalists created a compilation of articles (The Federalist Papers), which advocated the ratification of the Constitution. The principle writers were Alexander Hamilton and James Madison. However, the Antifederalists were the opposite. They opposed a strong central government, skeptical about the new Constitution (favored the Bill Of Rights), and were supported by Thomas Jefferson and James Monroe.
