Around the time Margaret of Valois Was Going To Marry Henry of Navarre (protestant Huguenot). Originally the marriage was going to bring the leader of the Huguenots and Catholics together.Henry of Guise had the leader of the of the Huguenots murdered. Because of this Henry of Navarre's mother (Catherine de Medici) Ordered the massacre of Huguenots. About 20,000 Huguenots where murdered. As a result of this the the war of the three Henry's began.
