The Dreikaiserbund, or League of Three Emperors, is formed between Germany, Austria, and Russia. This was an example of Bismarck's attempts to isolate France. The alliance aimed to stop revolution and keep the status quo. Germany wanted to stop rivalries and encourage cooperation between its neighboring countries.
