The Space Launch System (SLS) will be the most powerful rocket ever made. NASA is designing it to not only be powerful, but also flexible, able to meet a variety of needs, be it crew or cargo. It is being designed to work with NASA's Orion spacecraft, where they will work in tandem to launch astronauts into deep space and back. The launch has been delayed from 2018 to 2019, but the world still waits expectantly for a new era in rocketry.
