On the 13th of February, 2008, Prime Minister Kevin Rudd was. the first to say sorry for what some of our ancestors did to the Indigenous Australians. He said it in Parliament House showing that he really thought that it was wrong. This sparked many other things such as sorry day where people remember and commemorate the horrible life of Indigenous Australian children.
