This is described as happening in the 36th yr of Asa however it only fits in as the 36th yr of the division of the Kingdom. Baasha was already dead in the 36th yr of Asa.

This also coincides with the Covenant Asa made with Yahweh in 2 Chron 15 where many people of the surrounding tribes from the far north as well as across the Jordan to Ephraim and Manasseh came to worship at Jerusalem. Baasha tried to put a stop to this!
