On the 13th of February 2008 the prime minister of Australia apologised to all indigenous Australians. This was a memorable moment in Australia’s history because We had treated the Indigenous Australians like animals they were basically Flora and fauna before their rights changed in the constitution. He also apologised for what happened in the stolen generation. Children were snatched away from their family because of the government and churches. He couldn’t have changed that because he didn’t have the power, but it was a respectful decision of his to apologise for the disgusting thing people in our country have said and done.
