The Twin Towers, located in Lower Manhattan, New York City, United States. were truck by two planes causing hundreds of people to die and to this day is one of the biggest terrorist attacks. it's important because it changed the course of america and the way we run our country. it also is the reason that we now have such strong border control and airport security.
