On the 20th of January, 1788, The First Fleet arrived. The First Fleet consisted of 11 european ships.
Charlotte, Scarborough, Prince of Wales, Lady Penrhyn, Friendship and Alexander all transported the convicts. Some of these convicts didn't even do the crimes. These 775 convicts were crammed into tiny cells below deck in the stinky hull.
HMS Sirius and HMS Supply were for transporting the soldiers and governors. The 550 leaders had fancy cabins.
There were also Borrowdale, Golden Grove and Fishburn. They were for storing their objects.
When they got on land, the Indigenous greeted them with spears but yet again were overpowered by the europeans guns.
