Descrizione:
In the 1820s Frenchman, Nicephore Niepce had the idea to expose paper coated in light-sensitive chemicals to the image that was projected by a camera obscura, eight hours later the first photograph was created. Niepce partnered with Louis Daguerre to improve his design and after Niepce death in 1833, it was Daguerre who continued his research. His daguerreotype produced detailed images that unfortunately could not be replicated. William Henry Fox Talbot was the man who produced the first negative image which could become positive when light was shined on photographic paper. Rapid advancements lead to cameras being able to take images of moving objects as exposure times dropped. This invention was the starting point to the long journey of photo enhancements, making it one of the key inventions in the industrial revolution.
