Rover: Perseverance

Introduces a new drill.

Perseverance has an autopilot for avoiding hazards and a set of sensors for gathering data during the landing. A new autonomous navigation system will allow the rover to drive faster in challenging terrain.
It also comes with a helicopter attached wich can fly around Mars's sky.

GEOLOGICAL EVIDENCE:

The Mars 2020 mission addresses high-priority science goals for Mars exploration, including key questions about the potential for life on Mars. The mission takes the next step by not only seeking signs of habitable conditions on Mars in the ancient past, but also searching for signs of past microbial life itself.
