The MRTCG predicted this date to be the start of the apocalypse. 530 people were burned to death in a church in a mass suicide/mass murder (since some knew about it beforehand while others did not, it technically counts as both). Afterward, groups of previously killed cultists were found (killed presumably because they wouldn't join in on the mass suicide), raising the death toll to over 780 and possibly more
