The Agrarian Reform Law was the attempted redistribution of land from wealthy land owners to smaller families and farmers mainly in the central and southern Spain. The newly formed Institute of Agrarian Reform however, lacked the funds to fully support this reform, and so many families felt betrayed and dissappointed, while wealthy land owners felt angered and outraged. This would increase support for the anarchist movement and all around unrest increased.
