1 agos 1936 anni - Non-Intervention Pact
Descrizione:
The Non-Intervention Pact was signed on August 21st, 1936 by France, England, the Soviet Union, the United States, and many more countries. The Non-Intervention Committee created after the signing of the Agreement put forward a plan in early 1937 to control the supplies coming into Spain. This isolated the Republic internationally. The French Popular front feared intervening in the conflict would incite civil war in France so they did not directly support the Republicans of Spain. Pressure from the right-wing in France prevented Prime Minister Blum from sending support to the Republicans, and on August 21st, 1936, France signed the Non-Intervention Pact.
