28 gen 1930 anni - Spanish Economy is Reeling as a Result of Global Depression
Descrizione:
The Great Depression was a worldwide economic depression that took place in the 1930's. This affected Spain as much as any other country. There was a decline in industrial production by 30%, and Spain reported a slowdown of about 20%. There was a big decrease in foreign trade, and there was a drop in investments and imports during this time. This is important because it made a lot of Spanish people frustrated since they weren't making any money, so they wanted a change in leadership in the government. This may have been a reason why Primo De Rivera eventually resigned.
