Opportunity was a twin rover to Spirit and used the same 9 tools. Its goal too was to find any water or traces of it on Mars. The rover landed on January 25th 2004 and lasted 14 years, 3 years longer than its twin (Spirit rover). Its destination was Terra Meridiani.
