A league formed of countries dedicated to maintaining global peace and security. Composed of the Assembly, Secretariat, and Permanent Court of INternational Justice. Proposed by Wilson, but America did not enter it due to a majority desire for a revival of isolationism and a dislike towards the fact America may be forced to do something against their will due to other countries´ actions. Also, American rights could be restricted, such as declaring war, because of the LON. Proved ineffectual to future issues, like rising power of Hitler in the 1930's
