25 marzo 1774 anni - These laws were passed by British Parliament on March 24th, 1774. These harsh laws were put in place as a punishment for the destruction caused by the Boston Tea Party. The first act passed was the Boston Port Bill, where they closed the Boston Harbor until the people of Boston paid for the tea that they threw into the harbor.
