Also known as the three-day war, Thomaston Voyage consolidated his power-base and convinced his shadowy and mystique filled board of directors to join him in a plot that some now consider salvation while others see as high-treason.
With part of his Corporate militia under the control of disloyal commanders, Voyage gathers the better part of half his fleets senior officers and invites them to a meeting held in a convention center, thousands of employee's deemed loyal to Voyage are also invited.
The events that took place within the convention center are a mystery to this date, however all that is documented is that none of his loyal follower base that entered the center ever left. When local authorities raided the compound as the plot was triggered, no one was found inside. security camera footage only note Voyage exiting the premises after the night of the meeting.
Mere hours after leaving his mysterious meeting, Voyage has all the now presumably missing officers replaced by what could only be described as loyal fanatics and then his forces triggered what was first thought to be a coup d'etat. Voyage released a televised message to his followers that NanoTrasen was declaring its independence and seceding from the Republic, basing the need for self-governance as NanoTrasen had become too large of an entity to be controlled by an "inept" government.
Within hours any sector that had a sizable Corporate presence descended into chaos, NanoTrasen ground forces stormed local government buildings across planets, detaining or executing anyone that was even loosely linked to the Republican government. Several planets were scenes for intense ground-fighting between various Republic and loyalist troops, facing against a technologically superior and seemingly zealous foe, the bastions of the Republic fell one by one in the far reaches of space.
A number of small fleet skirmishes took place between NanoTrasen ships and task-groups responding to distress calls of the far reaches of the Republic, NanoTrasen displaying intense competence of naval strategy and once again putting its technological might on display.
The fighting continued for several days before the flag of NanoTrasen was erected upon the planetary administration of Relvor, marking the beginning of the Corporate state over the planet and many alike it. Relvor was later renamed to The Elysian Fields
After the fall of Relvor, a cease-fire was signed which then turned into a peace deal, effectively giving NanoTrasen control of the northern sectors of the Republic and begrudgingly recognizing their formation as an independent Corporate state.
The end of the war also marked the rapid evolution of NanoTrasen as it quickly devloped a Theological doctrine which then evolved into Theological Corporatism. Theo-Corp became the state religion of NanoTrasen, propping up the company itself as the savior of humanity and placing Voyage atop the Theological empire as the much beloved Prophet.
