Cindy Sheehan’s son was in the military and served during the Iraq war. He was killed on April 4th, 2004 during his service. Sheehan used her son’s death to protest the war. She began a protest on August 7th, 2005 by President Bush’s ranch in Texas where he was taking a 5 week long vacation to work from home. She was unhappy that the president brushed offer her son’s death by saying that it was a noble cause but she did not know how this cause was noble. She fought to have the troops pulled back to America but it did not work.​​ (CNN)
