Descrizione:

This Act, also known as the Publicity Act, established campaign spending limits and public disclosure of financial spending by political parties for federal elections.

Originally applying only to elections to the House and only to political parties, it was extended to the Senate, primary elections, and to individual candidates in 1911. House campaign spending was limited to $5,000 per candidate while in the Senate it was $10,000.
