The playhouse is based in Artillery Street, Derry. It was established in 1992 by Pauline Ross with a grant of just £300. Since then it has grown to become one of Ireland’s leading multi-disciplinary Community Art Resource Centres. The Playhouse is home to the First Call Youth Theatre Company. This company welcomes budding performers between the ages of 16 to 25 that want to learn the craft of acting , improvisation and performance skills in a fun environment.
