Walt disney would create his main character in 1928 “mickey mouse” was created to replace his previous character oswald the rabbit, he experimented with a few films with his character but micky’s real success would be in “steam boat willy” where micky would be seen whistling and creating music on different animals using synchronized sound.
This would be a massive success and launch mickey mouse into the history books as one of the most famous cartoon characters to exist.
