Mexican Officer Domingo Ugartechea sent a troop of Dragoons to get a cannon from the town of Gonzales. 140 Texan Volunteers gathered together and fought them to try and keep their little Cannon. The Texans won, 1 Mexican died and several others were injured, no Texans died.
