Israelites were in slavery in Egypt. They decided to escape Egypt. The Egyptian ruler changed his mind and called his army to chase the Israelites. Israelites were in fear, but moses convinced them that god will help them. They escaped throughht the Red Sea, and they got to their homeland safely.
