The television’s impact on society is greatly wide spread.Information was able to be shared faster. People could see visually what was happening in different parts of the world and country. The transmission technology for a television was based off of radio waves and electricity. What was unique was that the television could transmit audio and video, which was a major breakthrough in the computing world. This paved the path for computing innovations that worked on minimizing the size of this ‘television’ and making it into phones.
