Notes:
The title Traite des armes is the one used in the bibliography, Livre des leçons is the name used internally in the book itself. The attribution to Pedro de Heredia 1891, is based on a handwritten note associated with the treaty. It is written in French, without appreciating the influence of Spanish. It is not related to Verdadera Destreza, rather seems to be influenced by French and Italian fencing, includes references to common fencing tricks. The dating is not clear, it could be later, from the beginning of the 17th century.
The second Glasgow volume contains an incomplete version of the illustrations.
