Descrizione:

Apollonius, developed the concept of epicycles to account for the retrograde motion of the planets as viewed from earth. In his model, the planets followed their own circular paths as they moved in their circle around Earth. The model was accpeted and later refined by Hipparchus. This model is Heliocentric.
