One of the most significantly important sculptures in the world the Venus de Milo, was believed to be created by Alexandros of Antioch somewhere aroud 101 B.C.. Famous for its absent arms, this sculpture is also celebrated for its artistry in the Hellenistic style. Discovered in the 19th century, it was sent to the Louvre Museum where it is still located to this day.
