The III edition of Capo Ferro's is listed by both Thimm and Pardoel also as a stand alone book by the name of "Modo di metter mano alla spada" by the author CAPITELLI Bernardino dated sometimes as 1560 or 1632.

This edition was printed in 1632, in Siena, by Bernardino CAPITELLI. This likewise omits the unillustrated portion, and also truncates the descriptions of the plays. It includes new simplified illustrations, removing the backgrounds and scaled down to one quarter size.
